What kind of pictures may I use to personalize my item? You may email a color or black/white digital photo. In addition, you may use your original artwork or logo. Please refer to the following guidelines when choosing your image:

    IMAGE GUIDELINES
  • No copyrighted photos.
  • No images, likenesses or names of famous people, musicians, bands, sports teams, athletes, etc.
  • No content downloaded from the Internet.
  • No names or logos of companies or organizations that are not owned by you.
  • No images of known copyrights.
  • No trademarked slogans.
  • No illegal or offensive images.

 

Can I send copyrighted photographs? We cannot reproduce copyrighted photographs without the written permission from the studio or photographer. Please include a signed statement of permission from the original studio or photographer with your order, or request a Copyrighted Photo Release Form by email.



Do I have to send my image(s) via email, or is there another way? I prefer images sent electronically. If you are unable to email your image, I can create a digital file from a photo or original artwork or logo for an additional fee. Please contact us by using the Contact Form or or call directly for this option.

 

What are the supported file types? There are 2 basic file types you can use for your photo gifts: JPEG and PNG

JPEG (can be .jpg or .jpeg)- JPEG's support over 16 million colors, but can "distort" the image to compress the file size. The amount distortion is directly related to the 'quality' setting the image is saved with. We also recommend that you use the least amount of jpeg compression possible. (This is a setting on cameras that is sometimes called "quality" or "compression".) While high resolution and low compression will increase transfer times, they will produce the best results.

PNG - Portable Network Graphics format that supports a completely loss-less compression.

What size should my image files be? JPG files can be up to 10 MB, but files over 7MB in size can cause your internet connection to time out. PNG files can be up to 4 MB.
